Judy Field, Counsellor in Harrogate

If you are looking for a counsellor in the Harrogate area then let me introduce myself.

My name is Judy Field and I am a fully qualified counsellor and Registered and Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I work with people aged over 18 with no upper age limit.

I live in Harrogate with my energetic and playful cat, Gracie. When I am not out exploring ancient woodlands, forests and spending time with nature and trees, I am supporting others on their journey to realise their own inner resources and lead a peaceful and more happier existence in life.

Why Choose Me?

I know from my own experience of counselling that approaching counselling for the first time can feel like a scary and daunting prospect. Contacting a therapist can take a lot of courage. I will do my utmost to enable you to feel at ease. I am committed to providing counselling in a supportive, safe, discreet, confidential and non-judgemental space. I am experienced in supporting individuals from a wide range of communities, who have experienced varying issues.

I have a special interest in bereavement therapy for grief and loss, and have supported many clients who have experienced the death of a loved one or other life losses. I will work with you to explore your thoughts, feelings and responses and enable you to realise your own inner resources and acquire a deeper understanding of yourself and your problems. I will work with you on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of enabling you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
